Another football Sunday
Nate and I have hosted football Sundays at our house for the past 6 years--3 tvs, lots of friends, and good food. The tradition has continued, even with a newborn, however some of our louder friends have had to wear mitts (to dampen the loud clapping) and have been practicing the art of the silent cheer.

Coming home
Although she wasn't due to arrive until September 26 (week 3 of the NFL season), Audra decided to come a week early so that she wouldn't miss the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Cleveland Browns, a highly-anticipated game in the Wilke household. Luckily, we were able to convince the doctor to let us go home on Sunday instead of Monday, so we made it home with 30 minutes to spare before game time.
| Our wonderful friends, Mary & Michelle, cleaned our house, washed our sheets, and prepared Audra's room for our homecoming! |

The beginning
I guess I'll start off at the beginning...well, the beginning of our new life that is.
Nate and I welcomed our daughter, Audra Helen Wilke, into our family on September 17, 2010 at 1:03pm.

It was a tiring process (19.5hrs to be exact), but we made it.

This is it
Well, I've finally found the time and taken the initiative to put a blog together. Something I've been talking about doing since Audra was born. Check it out.
